Your Voice Matters The topic of gun violence really sparked my perspective of how strong our society can be. It is nothing new that there is violence all over the world that everyday is impacting all sorts of individuals. Oftentimes we are told to speak up and say something about an issue, yet the majority of the time we speak, we feel we are not heard. In my art the individual in the back represents anyone despite identity or gender who is suffering from feeling unheard. Someone who wants change. There will be people who may come or be a part of your life who will shut you down and tell you that what you say doesn't matter.
