Walk Like a Visionary

The gait is slow and steady

Many forward never backward

Always ahead

Never behind

The past is around the last corner

Look back

Don’t stare

A world, a place, a moment

In this near world defines a me

A spiritual me full of

Love

Healing

Power

Power to heal

Power to be accountable

To somebody not human

To something much larger

That has a vision of evolution

That seeks the truth we already possess

Walk with me

I walk these lines

I arrive with this wound

I heal as I pass

I help others to walk with me

They help me heal as I walk on this path

A journey of steps

Of increments

Of talking and getting up

Of helping others to get up with me

To a place with no goal in mind

But of feelings and care

Of trust and forgiveness

And when I am tired of walking

You will carry me as I carry you

In this walking circle of absolute love.
