Addressing Gun Violence in Oakland: For 10 years, Lighthouse Community Public Schools and Visioning Beyond Violence have empowered middle school students through the Addressing Gun Violence (AGV) curriculum. Created in honor of Jacob Gonzalez, AGV combines trauma-informed learning, SEL, and public art to help youth study gun violence, heal, and lead community change in East Oakland.

Each digital panel is a "visual testimony," shifting us from subjects of history to architects of a peaceful future. Through digital art and animation, creators process emotions, build empathy, and visualize alternatives to violence. This is our collaborative blueprint: proof that what we can imagine, we can create.
